Kids between the ages of 5-18, who are interested in learning and respecting the game of golf, have access to a great opportunity:

Since 1998, the Golf Course Builders Association of America Foundation has taken a special interest in supporting under privileged children with the Sticks for Kids Program, a junior golf outreach program for children who may not have the opportunity to learn and play the game.

The Sticks for Kids Program provides clubs, bags, and instructors for participating courses and teaches kids not only the fundamentals of the game, but also life lessons related to integrity, safety, and etiquette.   Environmental awareness is also taught with materials written in collaboration with Audubon International and Project Evergreen.  Our ongoing partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association has allowed for enhanced growth opportunities totaling over 500 programs in all 50 states and 10 international military bases.

This program takes the kids from the classroom to the practice areas and then to the golf course.  Go to www.gcbaa.com to find a Sticks for Kids Program in your area and get your kids playing today!
