Rally for the Cure® and The PGA of America have teamed up for a pilot initiative this Fall. As part of breast cancer awareness month, golf courses in seven markets will be holding introductory golf clinics to create an awareness of breast cancer and golf from October through December.
Rally for the Cure is a grassroots program designed to spread awareness of breast health and breast cancer through volunteer organized group activities. In partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Condé Nast Publications, Rally empowers people to spread the life-saving message of early-detection in their communities through an activity that are passionate about.
How Rally for the Cure works is that each person pays a $20 entry fee to participate in the Rally event and receives a goody bag, a chance to win a significant golf prize, awareness materials from Susan G. Komen for the Cure and a one-year subscription to a Condé Nast Publications magazine.
