All PGA or LPGA Professionals are welcome to offer Family Golf Month programs. Host Professionals / Facilities are asked to consider offering the following Program Elements:
- Family Golf Clinics
- One to two hour clinics, could include:
- Orientations
- Instruction
- Skills contests or mini on-course experience
- Make it a fun – family event!
- Should be complimentary
- Market “Family Play Days” and other next step programs
- Suggest hosting series of at least two “Family Golf Clinics”
- Family Play Days
- Family Scrambles: up to 9 Holes
- Family Golf Tees
- Family Golf Rules
- Family Golf Score Cards
- Suggest shot-gun start
- Make it a fun – family event!
- Families register and play together for a nominal fee
- Market other next step programs
- Suggest conduct at least every other week throughout the season
