National Alliance for Accessible Golf
The National Alliance for Accessible Golf has a mission to ensure
opportunities for all persons with disabilities to fully engage in the
game of golf with a core value to make sure that golf is accessible and
affordable for all.

GAIN Programs
GAIN (Golf: Accessible and Inclusive Networks) is a trademarked program of the National Alliance for Accessible Golf that brings together people with and without disabilities. It couples community programs and resources to enhance opportunities for people with disabilities to become involved in the game of golf.

Golf Program Grants for People with Disabilities
Through a grant from the USGA, the National Alliance for Accessible Golf (Alliance) is expanding its efforts to provide financial assistance and resources to help make the game of golf more accessible to people with disabilities. With this funding from the USGA, the Alliance will for the first time administer the grant-application process for organizations providing golf programs for individuals with disabilities.

National Amputee Golf Association First Swing Schedule
The National Amputee Golf Association was incorporated in 1957, as a
means of recreation and to re-enforce pride. Today, there are more than
2,500 members participating in programs and tournaments nationwide.
Meanwhile, the National Amputee Golf Association First Swing Schedule is a series of more than 40 PGA First Swing Clinics providing opportunities and introduction for all physically challenged individuals.

United States Blind Golfers Association
The United States Blind Golf Association is an organization for totally blind
and visually impaired golfers and conducts a series of tournaments, programs
and junior clinics.
The USBGA motto is, “You don’t have to see it to tee it.”

American Blind Golf
American Blind Golf (ABG) is a national 501 C3 non-profit golfing organization that promotes the game of golf for blind & visually impaired persons. ABG was founded on the principle of providing golfing opportunities while partnering with organizations that support local and national blind charitable endeavors.
Through our unique talents as blind/visually impaired golfers, ABG players strive to "Motivate, Inspire & Serve" all those who deal with the loss of sight.

Special Olympics
Special Olympics - Thanks to The PGA of America’s request to
Special Olympics International in 1988, golf is now an official Special
Olympics Sport, with approximately 8,000 athletes competing.
The first international introduction of Special Olympics Golf came in 1991,
when nearly 4,000 Special Olympians participated in daily PGA golf clinics
during the summer World Games in Minneapolis.
Today, golf is a common sport found in Special Olympic programs worldwide.

Single Rider Golf Carts
Single Rider Golf Carts enable physically challenged golfers
to play from a seated or partially elevated position on the cart.
Both acceleration and braking are hand controlled so the player
never has to leave the golf cart to play from tee to green. Meanwhile,
the seats adjust to the player’s height and can be raised and lowered
to play different shots and clubs.
These carts are ideal for players with disabilities, special needs and
chronic illnesses. Popular brands include Solo Rider Golf Carts
and Golf XPress. |

Eastern Amputee Golf Association (EAGA)
The Eastern Amputee Golf Association (EAGA) was formed by Bob Buck, retired National Amputee Golf Association's Eastern Trustee, and others who were interested in developing a regional amputee golf association. The EAGA was formed along the same guidelines as that of the National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA) but has its own Officers, Constitution, Bylaws, and Membership Dues. EAGA's prime purpose is to organize and conduct amputee golfing events and "Learn to Golf" clinics for any physically challenged individual, provide communication between its members and act as a bridge between its members and the National Association. The EAGA also assists NAGA in conducting the "First Swing” seminars for rehabilitation, parks and recreation, and golf professionals.
